COVID-19 Quarantine Survival Guide
This is an unprecedented time in our modern world, and it can be scary and lonely. We can easily become overwhelmed with anxiety and lose hope. BUT THERE’S GOOD NEWS: Your Catholic Church family is still here and still ready to help you connect to God, the Church, and your youth ministry family.
Keep Going to Mass
During these trying times, it is important to continue the practice of our faith. Thanks to the gift of technology, there are ways to participate in Mass virtually via online streaming. If you are able to attend Mass, please follow the guidelines on the OLSS parish website.
Here is An Act of Spiritual Communion to pray while watching or listening to Mass.
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen. (Saint Alphonsus Liguori)
