COVID-19 Response: Updated October 20, 2020
The Diocesan guidelines for the re-opening and attendance of Masses can be found on the Our Lady Star of the Sea Website!
For the sake of everyone’s health, we are complying with the directives from the diocese, national and local officials on safely gathering.
We are holding virtual and outdoor gathered meetings with our High School Ministry. Middle School Ministry Youth and Parents, if you would like to participate in virtual meetings, please contact Catherine at email@example.com.
When we gather in person, we will follow social distancing protocol, CDC and DOSA guidelines.
Please bring your own reusable water bottle, face covering, and chair.
Please do not come if you are feeling sick or have been exposed to someone that is sick. If you have any of these symptoms, please stay home: fever, sore throat, shortness of breath, cough, diarrhea, muscle aches, nausea, or vomiting.
Sorry. No hugs, handshakes, or high-fives. This is a non-contact gathering. This is for your safety and the safety of others.
We will provide an opportunity to safely gather, socialize in person, pray together as ACT1V8 family. We will experience the sound of laughter, the sight of each others smile in our eyes and the warmth of the sun on our skin and the warmth of the Son in our hearts.
We encourage youth and families to find new ways to grow in your faith. Make time to pray together as a family. Take advantage of FORMED.org, free Catholic movies and shows – to love God, we must know God.
Teens, if you need some extra support, we are here for you. Contact Catherine through social media, text, phone or email.
Seeking a way to help others? We have a Pen Pal program and a Talent Show Video to support our home-bound parishioners and residents of local assisted living homes. We will also be making rosaries to send to global missions in need.
Several Service Days are scheduled. Go to Events page for more info.
Please know that you all remain in our prayers.
St. Corona, pray for us.
Our Lady Star of the Sea, pray for us!
